No account No ads or trackers Everything stays on-device

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Overview

Most Popular Football Player does not require an account, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not use any analytics or tracking service. This policy explains the little data the app does handle, where it lives, and why.

What Is Stored, and Where

DataWhere it lives
Fan ID profile (name, favorite club, optional photo)On-device only, in the app's local storage. Never uploaded.
Game stats, achievements, match history, settingsOn-device only, in local storage.
Photos you pick or take for your Fan ID / result cardsStays on-device. Never transmitted off the device.
Scheduled local reminders (daily reminder, streak-risk alert)Scheduled entirely on-device via Apple's UserNotifications framework. No push server involved.

Nothing above is linked to your identity, sold, or shared with any third party — most of it never leaves your device in the first place.

Permissions We Ask For

You can decline or revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device's Settings app without losing access to core gameplay.

Network Access

The app calls the public Wikipedia / Wikimedia REST APIs (en.wikipedia.org, wikimedia.org) to fetch player biography extracts and public pageview statistics, and it loads wikipedia.org pages in an in-app browser when you choose to read a full article. These are standard, unauthenticated HTTPS requests — no personal or device-identifying information is included beyond normal network request metadata, and none of your photos, Fan ID details, or game data are ever sent to Wikipedia, to us, or to any other party.

If the network is unavailable, the app automatically falls back to a bundled offline dataset so gameplay continues to work.

Third Parties

There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in this app, and no data broker or ad network of any kind is involved. The only external services contacted are the public Wikimedia endpoints described above.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it has no account system and stores everything locally on the device. Any photo or name entered for a Fan ID card is optional, stays on-device, and is never transmitted anywhere.

Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, you are always in control of it. You can clear your Fan ID and reset local stats from within the app, or remove all app data at once by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date above.
